CommonUs for nonprofits

Every community Issue, on one shared path.

From the first report to a reviewed resolution, CommonUs keeps the Issue, affected people, nonprofit support, suggested responsible organizations, commitments and outcomes connected.

Free for nonprofit and community-based organizations. The core nonprofit workspace will remain free.

Register now to join the CommonUs Founding Nonprofit Network. Your organization profile will remain linked to the live workspace as functions become available. Founding status is community recognition, not company ownership or equity.

Built for operational work

Not another nonprofit CRM.

CommonUs is a shared Issue Registry and Resolution Workspace. It connects community problems, affected residents, nonprofit contributions, suggested responsible organizations and outcomes without giving any participant ownership of the Issue.

R

Register Issues

Create one durable record instead of another inbox thread. Invite affected residents to join the same path.

D

Discover relevant work

Find public Issues matching your mission and registered service areas without opening restricted information.

C

Coordinate contributions

State your role, contact, bounded commitment and deadline. Record evidence, expertise, service or funding.

F

Follow outcomes

Track responses, redirections, commitments, progress and reviewed results in one auditable history.

Ask your community to register Issues on CommonUs — not just send another email. Every Issue can have a shared record, people affected, a suggested responsible organization, a visible next step and a preserved history.
How an Issue moves

From report to reviewed outcome.

A responsible organization entering CommonUs does more than answer a complaint. It can participate in a structured resolution path with clear next steps and recorded commitments.

RegisterDescribe the Issue, location, affected people and desired outcome.
Involve peopleConnect residents and organizations affected by the same Issue.
Suggest who respondsIdentify a possible organization, department or decision-making role.
Receive a responseAccept, partially accept, redirect or decline with a reason.
Track commitmentsRecord ownership of the next step, deadlines and progress.
Verify the outcomeReview delivery, evidence and whether the Issue should close or continue.

Suggested Responsible Party

A suggestion does not prove legal responsibility. It identifies the public agency, municipality, university, company, service provider, department or role that may be best placed to respond.

Accountability without accusation

No response, repeated redirection or a reasoned decline can remain in the governed Issue history according to its visibility rules. These are accountability signals, not automatic legal conclusions.

The complete resolution method

Eight stages, one connected record.

The workspace is designed around the real work required to understand an Issue, organize a response, deliver commitments and verify what changed.

Your organization is registered.

Your governed CommonUs organization profile has been created and is connected to the future live workspace.

Registered OrganizationPending verification

This code cannot change your profile directly. It only opens an authenticated organization session. CommonUs stores its one-way hash, not the code itself.

Optional: register your first Issue

This step is not required. The Issue will remain private and Pending review until CommonUs completes scope and safety checks.

Your first Issue has been stored privately with Pending review status. It is not public and no organization has been assigned responsibility.

Trust and access

Relevance is not permission.

CommonUs separates discoverable public information from restricted and sensitive material. Registration never grants automatic access to private Issue details.

Public Issues

Organizations can discover public Issues matching their selected Issue Areas and exact service areas as workspace functions become available.

Restricted and sensitive Issues

Access remains fail-closed and requires explicit Issue-scoped authorization and an appropriate role.

Human verification

Registration starts as Pending verification. Only an audited CommonUs operator can change the organization’s verification status.

Powered by QDAIS. AI supports understanding, research and coordination. It does not make the final decision — accountable people remain in control.
